More info on the new Sailor Myu!

WOooo!! It's getting closer guys! The new 20th Anniversary Sailor Moon Musical now has a name: "La Reconquista!" which translates from Spanish to "The Re-conquest". It seems to me they mean they're taking over the planet again after they first did back in 1992!! BRING IT ON GURLS, bring it on.

Pre-sales for Sailor Myu closed last month, but tickets are now for sale to the public through the special page Nico nico has opened for this event. Also on this page there are a few more pictures as well as a basic biography for the five main characters and info on the staff. And we finally have a look at Yuga Yamato as Tuxedo Mask. The casting of a woman as a male character is controversial, but amazing! They're definitely going all-out on this Takarazuka Kagekidan style. I think it's pretty great!! GIRL POWEEERR!! Although I will miss the eye candy xD.

This is a look at the poster/pamphlet where we can appreciate the entire costumes. Certainly there are differences with the previous ones. The first obvious thing is that the wigs got a major overhaul! So much better styled and less puffy, they look a little close to those used on the Live action, which most fans can agree are the best looking wigs out there. The sailor fukus are so much more refined and elegant, stripped from the over-the-top accessories and pushed back to the basics but still with enough bling to it to make them shine on stage. They even look more comfortable. Is that just me? Lawl. As one of my friends on Twitter pointed out, there are a few mistakes: Jupiter's underskirt is green and Mars' back bow is purple and Venus' is orange. All these details are minor but eye sores for hardcore fans (my eyeeeeeees xD!)

And finally, More names for the cast have also been released. Characters like Queen Serenity and Beryl, but also, surprise surprise, even the lemures and the 4 generals are all female performers too. This is shaping up to be a pretty epic myu revival! Can't wait for more details!! :D

Jamie Natsuki as Queen Serenity
Midori Hatsukaze as Queen Beryl
Ryō Saika as Kunzite
Misaki Komatsu as Zoisite
Koro as Nephrite
Mayumi Shintani as the Lemure Leader
